Meet The Team
Founder & CEO
Daniel Megeath
Daniel Megeath is not only the founder and CEO, but an ambassador to the brand as well. In short, Daniel has carried the brand on his back every single day since it's inception by speaking it into existence when people didn't see the vision, climbing the ladder in order to make the BiO brand relevant on a bigger stage, and has worn the logo everyday since it has come to life. The logo is now permanently tattooed on to even more so confirm the commitment, passion, and dedication to the process of growing the brand into a household name.
Writer & Artist
Carlos Beauford
Carlos Beauford, professionally known as Black Los, is a BMI-registered songwriter and artist from Baltimore, MD. Being submerged in music since birth, it’s no surprise that Carlos would eventually cut his teeth in music. His late parents were exceptionally good singers, both from a gospel background. However, for him, it would all start with love of the written word. Carlos started writing poetry at age 7, also dabbling in writing raps. It would be a passive activity until age 13, when he regularly wrote poems and letters, some he occasionally shared with others, but often not. It wasn’t until age 20 that he started recording music on his own, and it wasn’t until a decade later that he started commercially selling his music. To date, his music has reached dozens of different countries, even collaborating internationally with fellow artists on his debut album, “Silent King To A Vacant Throne”, which is available on all streaming platforms.
Where Carlos fits in the BiO umbrella is through the spirit of music. There was a common bond started between Carlos and BiO owner Daniel Megeath, and that was solidified in music. The passion it invokes. How it rouses every sort of emotion humanly capable. That bond was proven solid, even in the infancy of apparel line. He has graced numerous Believe In One events, has had plenty of input on the clothing line, and has done voiceovers and spoken word pieces, as well. Even the internet mixtape album, Disclosure, was executive produced by Daniel Megeath, himself.
